# Senior Electrical Power Design Engineer – Industrial Facilities

• *Location:** Long Beach, CA (Onsite)
• *Compensation:** $140,000–$190,000 annually
• *Employment:** Full-Time, Direct Hire

• *Travel:** Approximately 25%

### Position Overview We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Power Design Engineer** to develop and lead electrical power distribution design projects for industrial facilities. This position focuses on the design of industrial electrical power infrastructure, including power distribution systems, load studies, single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, and comprehensive electrical construction packages. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial electrical engineering and can independently develop engineering deliverables suitable for Professional Engineer approval and submission to regulatory authorities. ### Key Responsibilities

• Design industrial electrical power distribution systems and develop comprehensive construction drawing packages.
• Perform electrical load studies and prepare single-line diagrams, grounding plans, lighting layouts, and conduit and cable schedules.
• Develop electrical construction specifications, equipment installation details, and bills of materials.
• Prepare engineering deliverables for PE review and approval.
• Perform electrical power system analysis and coordinate protective
